Get Your Residence Permit Application Right —
the First Time
Your application is the single most important step in your entire process
A residence permit application is not just paperwork. It is the moment that determines whether months — sometimes years — of planning, saving, and hoping will succeed or collapse. A missing document, an unclear explanation, or a misunderstood requirement can lead to delays, requests for additional clarification, or outright rejection.

Who we can help
Make sure you meet every requirement — before you apply
We walk you through the specific eligibility criteria that apply to your situation and check your case against each one, so you know exactly where you stand before you submit anything.
Complete your application
We will go through your application, attachments and other necessary documentation, help you draft your statements and prepare you for your personal interview. Any information you need, we will make sure you get it.
International student, has your residence permit been cancelled?
You are not the only one, unfortunately. But luckily you've got us to help you do whatever there is to be done to avoid the cancellation and being deported to your home country.
If you have just received a request for additional information from the Finnish Immigration Service, we can advise you on how to answer it to avoid cancellation.
In case you have already got a decision from the Immigration Service and your residence permit has been cancelled, let us do the appeal to the administrative court. We know how it is done effectively, focusing on what is relevant and what actually works.
If you are a residence permit holder, but your entry to Finland has been denied by the border control, we know what to do about that too.
We also advise our clients with all sorts of applications and help you make sure everything is as it should be.
Why choose us?
Our lawyer at Migraid is a former judge and has over 10 years experience from working at the Finnish Immigration Service and administrative courts. She knows everything there is to know about granting as well as cancelling residence permits. Most of all, she knows how the authorities think and how they evaluate your circumstances.
